Who we are
Chablon is a template design and export tool. The data controller for this service is reachable at info@chablon.app.
What we collect
Account data
When you sign up, we collect your email address. It is used for authentication and to send project invitations.
Project data
Templates, field configurations, and project settings you create are stored on our servers.
Invitation data
When you invite someone to a project, their email address is stored and used to deliver the invitation. It is not used for any other purpose.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how the service is used. Plausible collects no personal data, sets no cookies, and cannot identify individual visitors. All data is aggregated and anonymous.
Cookies
We use a single cookie: a session cookie set by our authentication provider (Supabase) to keep you logged in. This cookie is strictly necessary for the service to function and is not used for tracking or advertising.
Legal basis for processing
We process your data under the following bases (GDPR Art. 6):
- Account and project data — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): processing is necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
- Invitation emails — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): enabling you to collaborate with others on projects.
- Analytics — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): understanding how the service is used to improve it. No personal data is processed.

Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us. Deleted accounts and their associated project data are removed promptly.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data; restrict or object to processing; and receive your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact info@chablon.app.
Supervisory authority
If you believe we are processing your personal data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet (the Norwegian Data Protection Authority).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users before they take effect.
